New York Jets' 2024 Draft Class: Jets Draft Safety Jaylen Key
The New York Jets wrapped up their 2024 draft class with seven selections. As part of their draft class, the Jets drafted Alabama safety Jaylen Key in round 7 with the 257th overall pick.

The Jets had to bolster their offensive line after quarterback Aaron Rodgers was left unprotected last season in game one, which led to his season-ending injury. To fix this issue, among other offseason moves, the Jets drafted Penn State offensive tackle Olu Fashanu.
On the offensive side of the ball, the Jets also drafted Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley, Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen, Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis, and South Dakota State running back Isaiah Davis. On the defensive side of the ball, the Jets drafted Canadian Football League cornerback Qwan'tez Stiggers and Alabama safety Jaylen Key. The Jets head into the 2024 season facing a tough AFC East Division.
