Texas' Top RB Jonathon Brooks Tore His ACL and is Done for the Season

The University of Texas’ top running back, Jonathon Brooks tore his ACL and is done for the season. This season before getting injured ending his 2023 campaign, Brooks had 187 carries for 1,139 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns averaging 6.1 yards per carry.

Texas losing Brooks for the remainder of the season is a huge loss for the Longhorns’ offense. Brooks has not indicated whether he will declare for the 2024 NFL Draft or not, however some NFL experts project Brooks as being one of the top running backs in this upcoming NFL Draft if he chooses to declare.
