The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed wide receiver Denzel Mims. Mims played college football for Baylor University and was drafted by the New York Jets in the second-round of the 2020 NFL Draft. During his time with the Jets, Mims eventually requested a trade and was subsequently traded to the Detroit Lions.

The Lions eventually waived Mims. Mims then signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he eventually was waived by the Steelers on June 19, 2024. Mims will now look for a fresh start with the Jaguars who currently have a need at wide receiver.
