Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has signed a contract extension with the Miami Dolphins. Waddle and the Dolphins agreed to a three-year contract worth up to $84.75 million with $76 million in guaranteed money. Waddle is set to make at least $25.33 million per year in guaranteed money for the next three seasons.

Before being drafted with the 6th overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Dolphins, Waddle played college football at the University of Alabama following all-time great head coach Nick Saban. Since entering the NFL, Waddle has consistently produced impressive PFF scores every season. During his rookie campaign in 2021, Waddle had 104 receptions, 1,015 receiving yards, and 6 touchdowns, which amounted to a 78.3 PFF score.

During his sophomore season in 2022, Waddle had 75 receptions, 1,356 receiving yards, and 8 touchdowns, which amounted to an 83.9 PFF score. Last season in 2023, Waddle had 72 receptions, 1,014 receiving yards, and 4 touchdowns, which amounted to a 90.7 PFF score. Waddle is easily one of the NFL's best wide receivers, and it does not look like he will lose that standing anytime soon.
