Washington Commanders' 2024 Draft Class: Commanders Draft OL Brandon Coleman

The Washington Commanders wrapped up their 2024 draft class with nine selections. As part of their draft class, the Commanders drafted TCU offensive lineman Brandon Coleman in round 3 with the 67th overall pick.

  • Round 2: No. 36: Jer’Zhan “Johnny” Newton, DT, Illinois

  • Round 2: No. 50: Mike Sainristil, CB, Michigan

  • Round 2: No. 53: Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas St.

  • Round 3: No. 67: Brandon Coleman, OL, TCU

  • Round 3: No. 100: Luke McCaffrey, WR, Rice

  • Round 5: No. 139: Jordan Magee, LB, Temple

  • Round 5: No. 161: Dominique Hampton, S, Washington

  • Round 7: No. 222: Javontae Jean-Baptiste, Edge, Notre Dame

The Commanders enter the 2024 season with a new head coach in Dan Quinn. The Commanders also have a new quarterback in LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels. On the offensive side of the ball, the Commanders also drafted Kansas State tight end Ben Sinnott, TCU offensive lineman Brandon Coleman, and Rice wide receiver Luke McCaffrey.

Quinn will look to revamp the Commanders' defense this upcoming season. To that end, the Commanders drafted Illinois defensive tackle Jer’Zhan “Johnny” Newton, Michigan cornerback Mike Sainristil, Temple linebacker Jordan Magee, Washington safety Dominique Hampton, and Notre Dame edge Javontae Jean-Baptiste. The Commanders still have a lot of roster holes as they enter the 2024 season.
