The virus collapses society and begins turning people into zombies. The acclaimed TV series follows a group of survivors as they navigate a post-apocalyptic world.

2) Fear the Walking Dead (2015-2023)

Fear the Walking Dead is a spin-off series to the popular The Walking Dead series. The series follows a different set of survivors of the post-apocalyptic world located in a different region of the U.S. If you fell in love with the original The Walking Dead series, this series provides further storylines that eventually overlap with some of the storylines from the original series.

3) The Walking Dead: Dead City (2023-Current)

Following the ending of "The Walking Dead" original series, The Walking Dead story continues in this spin-off series that follows Maggie and Negan as they navigate the post-apocalyptic world in New York City, which poses its own unique political challenges and threats. Negan reunites with an old alliance that challenges the personal progress that Negan has made throughout his survival journey. This series is very good and it's much better than "Fear the Walking Dead."

4) The Walking Dead: Darryl Dixon (2023-Current)

Following the ending of "The Walking Dead" original series, The Walking Dead story continues in this spin-off series that follows Daryl Dixon as he unexpectedly ends up in Europe. The challenges in Europe are unique and pose many obstacles for Daryl to navigate as he meets new survivors and discovers new communities. This is easily my favorite The Walking Dead series and it has the potential to be better than the original series.

5) Black Mirror (2011-Current)

"Black Mirror" is a horror TV series that explores the dark and scary impact of misused technology on humanity, which results in a future dystopian society. Each episode is a standalone story of how current and future technologies can abuse humanity and further rob us of our freedoms and so-called privacy. Many of the episodes showcase the potential abuse of emerging technologies by totalitarian governments and evil corporations hellbent on controlling and manipulating society. This TV series is surely an eye-opener and foreshadows a very scary future.

6) Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003)
